Milton Family Practice's Hours of Operation
Our office is generally open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm for patients who need to pick up paperwork, referrals, or prescriptions. However, the following hours are for scheduling appointments and also when we have our telephones on. The hours in between, allows our staff time for performing paperwork duties, and a break for lunch.
Monday thru Thursday -- 8:30 am - 12:00 pm & 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Friday -- 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
SICK VISITS
Our goal is to have a patient, who is sick, see a provider the same day if they call between the hours of 8:30 am and 10:30 am, if they call after this we will try to get them in the same day, if we have the time available. However our rule, during the weekdays, is to see a sick patient within 24 hours of the time they call.
NEW PATIENTS
For new patients without a problem, we will be able to schedule you a visit within two weeks, for new patients who have an acute medical problem we will try to schedule the appointment within two days. During times of the year when the cold and flu season is at its worst this may not be possible, so we suggest to all new patients who are without a medical provider to schedule an appointment before they become sick.
